on gunbroker today theres a original ruger old army ss cylinder with the buy it now price of 40.00,some moron bid 101.00 on it!:banghead: also curly wisnet the owner of classic ballistics keeps pm me about an old post in which i describe a bad personal experience with a purported class ballis cylinder,saying that i represented his cylinders as bad,and he has no record of selling me one,HOW DOES HE KNOW MY NAME?HE SAYS HIS CYLINDERS ARE ALL SERIAL NUMBERED,IVE NEVER SEEN ONE THAT HAD A SERIAL NUMBER? OH WELL HES AS CRAZY AS HIS PRICES IN MY OPINION..........AND WE ALL HAVE A RIGHT TO OUR OWN OPINION,ALSO ON HIS GUN BROKER ADD HE STATES THAT HIS CYLINDERS ARE SUPERIOR TO ORIGINAL RUGER CYLINDERS,STRONGER AND MORE ACCURATE, WELL LETS SEE THE INDEPENDENT TEST RESULTS,HE DECLINED MY OFFER TO TEST HIS CYLINDER AND POST RESULTS ,GOOD OR BAD...ILL BET RUGER DOESNT PM HIM WITH THE BULL CRAP HE SAID TO ME, HEY ILL BET THE ITIALIANS COULD PRODUCE A R O A CYLINDER JUST AS GOOD OR BAD AS CLASSIC BALLISTICS,CHEAPER TOO ! anyone had a bad or good experience with a classic ballistics r o a cylinder ? Please relate your experiences whith theese cylinders...........

I saw that auction...I think what happened is someone underbid the $40 but still exceeded the reserve. Once that happens, the Buy it Now option disappears. Subsequently, 9 more bidders entered the fray and it was at $110 with a few hours left on the auction when I saw it last.

Had I seen it first - no hesitation....I'd have shelled out the $40 and grabbed it.

so would have I,and gladly paid $50 0vernight shipping,dam Ill just have to have ruger to fit a new cylinder,around $200.00 with shipping if they still have parts,oh well

I've got 3 Classic Ballistix ROA cylinders and they all work fine and are deeper than the factory cylinder. My son uses them for Cowboy action and has had no problems with them in the 4 years that he's been using them.

this is why I hate bidding. I'd rather look on Gunboards for milsurp stuff, or the SASS web site for cowboy stuff, and buy it outright.
