I bought some X-treme plated 9mm 124gr bullets last night. Wow they look nice. They would look better loaded up in some brass for my CZ75 and my wife's Sig 226 though. Does anyone have load data and OAL data for these bullets using either HS 6 or HP 38? Thank you

Just use lead bullet data for the X-Tremes. They are plated, so you definately don't want to use jacketed bullet data. I use them in my .38 Super. They are pretty accurate, but the lead under the plating is pretty soft and I get bullet deforming on the feedramp of my Colt that will cause FTF's.

So I should just use the same powder/load I used for the Speer 124gr LRN bullets?

Stay just short of max jacketed loads and you will be fine. Plated bullets act different than jacketed or plated. Start in the middle of jacketed data and work up watching for signs of pressure, or if you have a chrono, excessive velocity, as there is no free lunch.:)

Pressure equals velocity - period.

Walkalong gave you good advice.

I just stay a few tenths of a grain lower than what I would use for jacketed bullets and watch for pressure signs. I have had no problems or experienced any signs of excessive pressure.

E-xtreme bullets seem to have slightly thicker jackets than Berry's. I like them a lot.
