Yugoslavian model M70B1 Semi-Auto Sporter, Cal. 7.62x39mm. by Century International Arms. $450. A fair deal?

How are the Yugo's quality wise compared to romanian or hungarian? I saw some good deals on hungarian AMDs and of course romanians are always around.

Any issues or concerns of the Yugo's non chrome lined barrel? parts? Thnx guys and gals.

Yes, sounds like a good deal, I paid 500 for mine.

The barrel is not chrome lined...so what if you are shooting non-corrosive ammo and clean regularly you shouldn't have any issued.

There have been literally dozens of threads on Yugo AK's with lots of information, use the search feature on this site to access them.

FWIW, I love mine and it'a joy to shoot.

definitely a good deal

As for the barrel, if you really neglect it, it will eventually look like this:

Depending on your application, it may not matter though.

If you get shot, and bleed all over the dust cover, and never wipe it off, it will end up looking like this:

Definitely get it. I have one and it's an excellent AK. The barrel and receiver are thicker than your standard AK variant due to Yugoslav standards on their rifles. It's not chrome-lined but if you clean your rifle after shooting, that shouldn't matter. I really like the feel of it. You definitely get a good deal with that AK, especially for the price. That's how much I paid for mine about 3 months ago.

Thanks, guys. I think I am SOL as he sold it within hours of it being listed. Oh well! :banghead:
