Will I have this old .58 cal Zoli Zouve kit that was sold years back by Sears, bought it at a parking lot sale very cheap. Now I'm going to assemble it with a lot more care, I'm going to use a Wonder Blue bluing kit for the barrel, polish all the brass fitting nice and bright, may do the old Navy trick of clear shellac to keep it that way, I want a high shine on the stock I know it isn't period but after seeing what Das Jaeger did on his jaeger rifle that is the way to go.

Well... git after it !! But... his Jaegermeisternessborgwannabe don't do high gloss on his... he's a bit more stealthy in his likin's. But, I think it'll look just fine done up in that manner.

Seems to me IIRC that there used to be a finish called Genuine Oil along with Tru Oil but I don't see it listed any more, I'm after a finish like the ols Weatherby's used to have.
The shellac is for the brass after its cleaned up.
