Zombie Videos

In the first one it was obviously an infrared video. Zombies are cold so they wouldn't have shown up bright white like the "alive" guy. Obviously fake, not REAL zombies.

Second video was likely an actual sighting. Hopefully my latest order from AIM arrives before natural order breaks down. . .

CNY, the fresh ones still show up on FLIR pretty good. It is the old ones that are room temperture. Plus look at the speed. Those are definately fresh zombies.

Yeah I have a reply. Uhhh, WHAT?

WHat's going on in the first video? All I hear is someone shooting at people from a helicopter and then somebody throwing up.

Who'd they kill? What cover up?

Surely, you jest?

***EDIT: The helicopter is viewing what it supposedly happening on the ground with FLIR; they are not doing any of the shooting. The man on the ground is doing the shooting and is attempting to defend himself from a number of marauding "zombies" who don't seem to be affected by the rounds. He eventually uses up all his ammunition (or his rifle jams) and then you seem him toss it. It's goodnight for this poor fellow as the "zombies" close in and proceed to start ripping him to pieces.

Sorry to be a weener, but is ZOMBIES eating people THR material? I've had some threads locked about TEOTWAWKI. Regardless of the entertainment value of it all, are Zombies THR material?

It is a Youtube video with a gun in it. It appears to be an AK.

I figured it was okay. If one of the Gen Dis. mods want to close it, that's cool.

Muscles generate heat when they move. See this if you're willing to read awhile.. it's a neat story in itself.

Fresh zombies move fast. Muscles generate heat. It's only when they're getting older and decomposing that they start to shamble. I'm going to send this one to my state rep to make sure he sees the futility in a 'cosmetic features' ban... If it saves even one gritty, cigar-chewing survivalist in the midst of a romantic subplot, scavenging something with which he can save the last tattered remnants of humanity, then it's worth it :D

The Helicopter view video is actually from a computer game called S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadows of Chernobyl.

It takes place in an alternate history where the Chernobyl accident resulted in a large "zone" full of mutants, bizarre gravitational anomalies, paranormal events, and yes, zombies. The player is a "Stalker", part hunter part survivalist and makes his money by sneaking into this "Zone" past military cordon to gather technology and strange artifacts to sell to scientists.

Very good game, It's been my most recent little addiction. It features a whole slew of weapons, from Walther P99s, AK-74s, shotguns, AR-15s and MP-5s to RPG-7s.

EDIT: Just noticed the little linky on the first post. Well, theres the actual game website anyway.

You guys are right. I didn't think about them being fresh.

Even though we now know it's a video game, I am glad for the insight.

The second video still gives me the heeby-jeebies. Hurry up, UPS!

What can brown do for me? Bring me my dang ammo before the naked tree-zombies get up here from South America!
