Walther PPQ 9mm

I have owned a PP, a PPK/s (both purchased in the '70s) and a PPK (purchased in the '80s ... which I still have, btw ... and all 3 were 9x17). I have handled & fired a P38.

That is the extent of my experience with Walther pistols.

Of those 4, I prefer the PP.

Could I have only one Walther, I'd likely have to stick with the classic P-38. That said, it is hard to rule out the PPK, P5 and P88. As for polymer versions, I'd pick the PPS M1 over the PPQ.

I only have one Walther, a Houlton made PPK/S. It brings out the Bond...James Bond in me. So that's the one I'll keep, and since I grew up in Houlton Maine, it has kind of special place in my heart....

I have always wanted a Walther TPH for no good reason. Its a cute little .22 that fits in your back pocket.

That's a easy one, ppq 9mm (classic or M2). Handles like a full size with 15+1 and 17+1 mags yet small enough to conceal carry. The accuracy I'm seeing people get out of these pistols is absolutely amazing. I've seen and accomplished 1 hole groups with 5 rounds. Ergonomics, trigger, light weight and aesthetics are all there. Oh did I mention the trigger? The break and reset is superior to all striker fired triggers I've tried and that's been all of them except the Cz p10c. If you must have one walther I'd say the ppq is the one. I do like the p99 as well, it's a close second but the non ability to fit common weapon lights kind of dings it for me. The only "do all" 9mm I'd take over a ppq is a Cz p01, period.

Well I own a "Walther" (actually Umarex) P22 but would gladly give it up for a P99AS. I like the looks of the PPK/S but do not find them very pleasant to shoot.

James Bond carried a PPK, and if it was good enough for him, it's good enough for me.

7.65 PP is my current only Walther. I would also like to have a p38 but will not spend the money. I have posted my PP on here several times. It sure is purdy for being a recently acquired $269 gun!!!

Me too, but make mine a TP 25acp.

I have had mostly older Walthers like the PPK/s, PP, P38, P1, and P4. Currently I only have one: a French Manurhin P1. If I could have any Walther I suppose it would be to have that P4 back. It was an updated version of the P38 and it was a great utility type gun to have around.

Also have a hankerin' for a P5 and a PP Super too.

P99 for use, p38 for collecting

I've got a three Walthers, a P99 AS, a P99c AS, and a PPS M1. I love all three of them, but if I could only have one Walther, I'd probably go for a PPQ Classic (the one with the paddle release) since it actually has a useable frame rail unlike the P99. The P99's trigger guard profile really prevents you from attaching anything to the frame as it does not let you get the accessory back far enough to line up with the little notch in the frame.

TIE- Walther PPQ M1 and PPS original both in 9MM.

I own SIGs, HKs, Walthers, Glock, and CZ. If I could only own two pistols it would be my PPQ and PPS. Both are freaking awesome. PPQ for all around double stack pistol and PPS for single stack 9MM for maximum CCW comfort. PPS is no slouch at the range either and can keep up with or exceed in accuracy for me compared to much larger pistols.

Recently I was able to try a bunch of guns at LGS factory shoot including CZ P-10C and M&P 2.0 which are both nice guns but I still prefer my Walthers and shoot them better.

Mine is carried for CCW regularly.

I have a P38 that is very accurate and reliable.
I had a TPH which was not reliable.
I used to own a West German PPK/S in 9mmKurtz which was a good all around gun.
I own an original Party Member marked 1930s PPK in 7.65mm which bits my hand.
My PPS-M2 is a good shooting little gun that i have not been able to make malfunction yet. ( 500 rounds without cleaning so far)
I always wanted a Walther P5. It was used by 007 in Octopussy and in Never say Never. I used to work with a guy who had one. It was a VERY nice shooting gun. You never see them anymore and they are worth around $1600 to $1750 on the used market.
