Never know what you’re going to find

My shed??? Haven't even gotten out there yet. All these pics have been in my shop, which is part of my house. I'm scared of what I might find in my shed.

Gunny, where in your house is your workshop? It looks like your basement but I’m not sure. I’m interested in your older magazines, if you want to get rid of them let me know. I’ve only been into guns for a couple years, I enjoy reading the old stuff.

I closed in my carport a few years ago and turned it into a workshop. I had to raise the floor 5 inches to have it level with the rest of the house. I ran central air, 3 vents, in it and insulated all the walls. I did all the walls with the help of my boys.
Send me a PM and we'll see about getting you some Gun Magazines.

Man Gunny I thought we were friends.
I take some time away from the forum to move and you post all of this.
All I can say is I’m exhausted going through this whole thread. I can’t imagine how you feel. Our move involved a lot of cleaning so I feel for you. I can say though it sounds like you’re making progress. Keep up the good work and hope you get it all organized, and in order so you can enjoy all of those goodies.

Also congrats on beating cancer! Way to go.

Your move is what inspired me to clean up my mess. I thought that if I had to move it would take me forever just to find the things I wanted to take with me.
Oh, the cancer wasn’t all that bad, but those treatments just about killed me.;)

My mom is a survivor also and said the same thing.

I’m not sure if I should be proud or ashamed to have put you through this. I hope once your place is all clean and organized you’ll feel it’s worth it. I got rid of so much stuff and I’m still trying to figure out how to unpack and organize things. Plus I’m still recovering from moving everything.

I don’t have any benches in the new shop yet so that’s the good and bad, I did get a few cabinets positioned so it’s a start. I’m still trying to figure out how to lay everything out so it may be this weekends project!

Btw I saw the post on all those AR barrels. I’m hoping to get back on my build soon. So you may get a PM on that soon!

There were a few other things in my Mosin closet that I thought some of y’all my like to see.
Well, it wouldn’t be a Mosin closet without these. The bayonets that are upside down on the rifles are matching to the rifle. Most of the rifles on the rack are 91/30s, but three are 91 Dragoons.

Then there’s this M39 and M91

And these two Daisy BB rifles

One of my upcoming projects. A No1 MkIII. I have to remove the front sight that was put on it to see if it’s restorable, if not, it will become a bulldog.

And then there are some pocky things.

Gunny

Got to love your Mosin Closet! Nothing like that at any gun shop I have ever been to (though there was one that had Mosins for sale that were still in the crate).

Heck, he's got enough Mosins alone to defend Stalingrad.
Again... ;)
 I have more.

I’m another step closer in the cleanup. This part is just getting some things out of the way. Guitarmike will be getting some gun magazines, because he asked.
And then I have a friend coming over to pick up some of his toys. He’s selling off some of his collection and asked me to give them a good cleaning before he puts them up for auction. I’ve had them for about three weeks and he’s coming to get them tonight.

I know the feeling. Was cleaning my master bedroom closet last night and found a PSA rifle padded box with 4 Smith and Wesson revolvers, a eotech, a complete lower and a stripped lower all in it. I pretty pumped up about it.
I'm afraid of what I might find in my master bedroom closet. I know there are guns in there, but there are other things. :alien:

Oh my... I need to subscribe to this thread...

You mention... "Cleaning up", but what do you do with all that stuff?

You may have missed it, but I posted that in Post #144
Awesome thread and collection, I saw the Nagants and the presses. Do you hand Load for those nagants? Have any favorite loads?
I think your talking about the Mosin Nagants, Mosin for short. Nagant would be a Nagant revolver .
I am setup to load 7.62x54r, but I don’t load for it right now. Ammo was so cheap and I bought so much so, reloading it was not cost effective.
I’m going to try and do some clean on one of my benches tonight, but I have to be at work at 4am, so that doesn’t give me much time.
Well, I’m going to get me an after work snak then get in the shop and see what I can find.
