A few more things from the bench.

Another Pistol Match Timer (older). A Mk19 cartridge case, and some odds and ends.

Gunny,

I’ve always wondered what my work shop would look like if I do not have a wife to make me clean up.

Now I know. Thanks!

PS- still love the little surprises discover things I forgot I have.

Gunny

Looks like there's an M1 Carbine rear sight there too.
I checked, it’s a 03A3 sight.
I did put up a new LED light today.

Some of the ammo on the bench. Some 375 Winchester , wish I had the Big Bore 94 my father in law had.

Some Federal 150 gr PowerPoint ammunition, from what year, I don’t know.

And then something odd. Some old fake motor vehicle inspection stickers (MVI) from 2003.
Back when I was in Uniform Patrol we did what we called nontypical buck hunting. We had to be doing the speed limit and spot the fake MVI on a moving vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Never took long to find one. Most often the drivers had no insurance on their vehicles.

I just spent 2 days reading this entire thread. Yes, all 20 pages. All I can say is WOW. I always heard that we Marines could carry more stuff in our pockets than anyone else. Gunny, you have raised the bar. There is some wonderful and valuable treasure there. Just pray you don't get a surprise health and comfort inspection.

I found a backpack when I moved. 40 20ga slugs, 6 cans of Beenie weenies, Sog Fasthawk, Kershaw Brawler, 250 ft paracord, Phoenix HP22a, 550 rd brick of ammo, screwdriver set, ratchet set, small electrical kit, batteries... I found my long lost survival bag. I replaced the beenie weenies and put it back in the truck where it belongs. I need to replace that 20ga with another one without emotional attachment...bad emotional attachment.

Ya know gunny you just might want to get your FFL and start a part time gun shop.;) You already have more Mosins than most of the ones around here ever stocked when they were available, not to mention the compliment of bits and pieces like they always seem to have.:D

FROGO207

You know I was just thinking the same thing, after looking at the Gunny's latest "find". Certainly has enough merchandise to fill a couple of stores! Should probably call it "Gunny's Gun and everything else I found around the house (but not including the kitchen sink),
Emporium".

Gunny,
Any of those holsters fit a ruger p89 by any chance?
Here’s the labels.

I had a bunch more, duty belts, inner belts, cuff cases and holsters, but gave most of it to the local Marshals office after the flood we had down here. I think it was something like six full duty rigs and a bunch of extras. A lot of them had lost their gear in the flood and are required to buy their own duty rigs.
I have some other holsters, but need to find them.

Thanks for looking, the p89 is specific along with the p90. Great that you were able to hook some brothers with gear after the floods... my bin is not that quite full, went thru and gave it a cleaning awhile back, still kept the expandable baton and some other gear I might have a use for when camping

Good on you! I greatly admire your selfless attitude in helping others in need!

Said it before and I will say it again: you're the best Gunny!

Hey! I played Fallout, good game. Right now I’m playing WWII.:)
Call of Duty: World at War is pretty accurate as to the weapons involved. My only quibble is that ammo is magazine specific, so Garand clips are plentiful, but you can't use them in the '03A4. I also run out of BAR ammo too fast and spare magazines are unobtainium.
As a result, I ended up island hopping from Saipan to Okinawa with a Japanese Type100 SMG as my constant companion, with my Garand usually slung as a backup. From what Ive read, the T100 was actually pretty uncommon, but look on the ground anywhere in the game and there's ammo lying about for it.
On the Eastern front, I would usually drop my Mosin for a GeW43 as soon as I could find one. I'd keep a Ppsh for backup in close encounters.
Good game- scary realism, especially in the Berlin subways and storming the Reichstag.
