I was finally in a good position to grab the 10mm I've been lusting after for quite some time. Dan Wesson 10mm Bruin. While it stung quite a bit handing over the cash, I've got it and it's mine! Time heals all wounds i've been told.

I've had it out to the range twice and it was all smiles. Already developing hand loads and found one i'm happy with already. This jewel feels a lot like shooting a 357 magnum on the warmer loads but accurate as all get out. I'm tuned in to a load shooting a 155gr Speer TMJ using No.9 at 1,393 fps avg.

Congrats on the new pistol. Been looking at them for a while and just can't pull the trigger on buying one, yet!

Congrats on the new and great looking Dan Wesson! Expensive I'm sure but you already know it's worth every penny of it! Enjoy!
 
The Bruin has full chamber support. Shoot em' hot if ya gotta! This one has a 6.3" long slide. At first I thought it may make it nose heavy but pleasantly surprised that it's very well balanced and a pleasure to shoot.

My first step in to the 10mm arena and I have a feeling not the last. :)
 
Man id love one of those.

Will have to be happy with my RIA until then.

I like 200 gr XTP over No. 9 at around 1100 fps
 
My first 10mm is a Glock 20. I'm hooked/addicted on the 10mm now and any one of the Dan Wesson models is on my bucket list for the next one. There is a Silverback here local, but just don't have the funds at the moment.

Beautiful gun. 10mm is an addictive cartrige . You will buy another one . Welcome to the sickness .

Nice gun! Sharp as a tack and I bet it's pretty tame. Congrats

The 10mm is a very addictive cartridge. I've not only fallen for it but it's kids also. I've got 2 so far (G20 and G29) and now can shoot 10mm, 9x25Dillon, 40s&w, and 357sig. I'd like to own a nice piece like that DW.
 
For forest walking the 10mm es muy bueno. Make mine a 29.
