(why is a 9mm pistol named "45?"}
Sorry that frame to slide gap is horrendous on that G45. Hopefully its not an issue with that particular gun. The ones Ive seen at the LGS had the normal glock "gap".Haters just gotta hate.

I'm sorry but the 19X just looks backwards to me.
Not a hater. Just messin' with the Glock guys, who always bust into all the other threads about other manufacturers and platforms suggesting that what the OP secretly wants and absolutely needs, despite not even mentioning the G-word, is ... a Glock.Haters just gotta hate.

Mentioning that I think the 45 is ugly isn't being a "hater." Besides, I kinda like the 19X and have been shooting one quite a bit.
The front cocking idea? To press check? All you have to do on a Glock, to check if there is a round chambered (and you can do this while the pistol is holstered, I do) run your thumb across the extractor.
To the OP: cool. Do you plan on changing out the baseplates on the 45 mags so they'll work for other pistols?

I already replaced the sights on my G45 with AmeriGlo night sights.
The AmeriGlo sights are nice, I use the standard. I fill they run a close 2ne to Trijicon, but a better value for your money.I like the night sights on the 19X. Let us know what you think of the AmeriGlo’s vs the Glock Night Sights.
I plan to shoot my new G45 tomorrow along with my 19X. Should be fun.
