On the other hand I’m looking really hard at also building a 358 yeti AR15 upper which is a handload only cartridge you have to form brass for.
Yeah, the fact that .308 brass becomes .358 brass with just a pass through the FL die was a definite plus for me. Almost makes up for the fact that .35 cal bullets only come in a handful of configurations and most have the BC of a bus...
I want a Ruger Blackhawk convertible in .44 RM/44-40 along with an 1873 reproduction .44-40.
Don’t need either, but wouldn’t that be a hoot to take to the range?

Darn you someguy!!!! Now I’m going to have something else to covet! If I was going to get a 44-40 revolver I'd want it in a smith and wesson model 3 top break. Don't know why, just do.
I take it you have one? My hunting is typically 50-150 yards, so it looks like a good fit for me. How does yours shoot as far as accuracy?
All the time! But if it truly "makes no sense," I don't have much difficulty resisting the urge. It's when I can make it make sense that it becomes a challenge!Does anyone else get the urge to buy a rifle that makes no sense at all for them?
Today, it’s more common to see used guns that are like new and maybe even unfired. I think a majority of my guns fit this category. Which means the previous owner didn’t have any more need for them than I doStore used gun racks are full of broken dreams, and worn-out great guns that once were lots of fun.
You sound like a single guy with plenty of money. Go for it!I just bought a heavy barrel Rem. 700. Why? Because the other five 308's that I have don't have heavy barrels. See how easy that was. But I also bought a heavy barrel Savage in .223 because my other bolt gun in .223 is a Win. Featherweight.
I'm thinking about building an AR10. Why? Because I don't have one. I just picked up another 1,000 rounds of 7.62 NATO to give me another reason to build one.
I also want to build a bolt gun in .277 Wolverine for no good reason. All I need to do is find a Savage 110 in .223 at a good price. Since I have no need for a used Savage 110 in .223, it would be used as the base gun for the Wolverine build.
I don't think I have bought a gun that I needed in the last 20 years. I find the urge to buy a new gun an nu-quenchable thirst.
Well, I am single and have a little money. With my luck with women, I'll most likely stay single and get a little more money. If I stop buying guns, I would have a lot of money. You sound like a single guy with plenty of money. Go for it!
