So I found this chart here from a very helpful company that sells whole jars of every size shot there is. (If only I were still into slingshots!) I've heard that old-timers used to make ball loads in .32 using buckshot balls. Looking at the sizes here, #1.5 shot seems too small at .310, whereas #0 buck seems a mite large .320. I'm sure I could load the former and it would work ok in a gun that normally takes .313 bullets, but wouldn't accuracy suffer? Alternatively, wouldn't the second one be too large and cause pressure problems? Or is lead buckshot soft enough to swage down with no problems, even in a round as low pressure as Smith & Wesson Long, or even Smith & Wesson Short?
