Keystone Mini Mosin

That's cool...... I can't justify it for myself but that doesn't diminish the "coolness factor". If they were to make it a regular model instead of a limited edition of 500 the price would most likely come down also. This limited edition may just be a marketing plan to see what type of demand exists for something like that. I better stop looking at it...... The more I look, the cooler it gets.

Now thats cool! I see that they offer a standard version as well. I'll probably order one when I haven't blown my toy budget for the next 6 months.
Getting the crate and all the doodads would be neat, but it would end up as another box I'd need to find a place for lol.
Offering a "limited/pre order" version of something at start up is pretty common practice now. I've got quite a few limited/pre order goodies from my video games, and had a good number of limited paintball markers. There's always folks willing to spend the extra for the cool add on doodads, serial#s, or colors.
And the doodads that come with this are REALY cool.

Never heard of them before. Except for..View attachment 840279
Is the action the same or similar? And please post a range report when it comes. Very cool.
Keystone Sporting Arms is the manufacture of the Crickett youth rifles.

The Mini Mosin is based off the Crickett action and will be a single shot. My son and grand son both have a Crickett rifle.
I'm not sure if I'm going to shoot the rifle. I might just keep it in the box.

The rifle is going to be sold without a crate for $399.

I'll shoot it for ya :D. If you do decide to shoot it, I'd love to see how well it does. I'd assume as well as the Crickett. I've recently developed a taste for the Mosin. A sickness maybe.

This little Mosin will not be lonely at my house. It will have around 50 big brothers to keep it company.
I have also given thought to building a copy of the crate that a standard 91/30 will fit in.

Made by Keystone in .22 LR, in a similar size to their scaled down kid size Crickett rifles.

From a Guns.Com on-line article:

"This Mini-Mosin is the perfect size for your little Comrade" - said Keystone on social media.

A lot of Texas kids can hardly wait until their birthday. :D

That would be great to have the matching crates sitting next to each other! And $399 for just the rifle isn't bad, but I would have to have the crate also if I owned one of these. Problem is I don't have any other mosins to go with it, or any spare cash right now. My son would love this thing though...

Ha! That's exactly what I pictured. But apparently it's single shot?
yeah....tho if it sells well, I wonder if they would consider doing the work to make it take a 10rnd magazine.
cause lets face it striperclips would be AWSOME, but opening up the bottom of the action and using the mosins "magazine" to hid a regular savage,marlin...you name them style mag wouldnt be THAT hard.
