I shoot them best without backstraps and can't wear gloves everyday. My solutions of super glue or band aids haven't worked.
So, worthwhile advice is welcome.

Interesting question. Myself and Glocks do not get along. If I owned one, I would have to take a dremel to it.I shoot them best without backstraps and can't wear gloves everyday. My solutions of super glue or band aids haven't worked.

I recently tried again and after 200 rounds through the 43X to try out and developed a nice blister on my trigger finger the next morning. Maybe it is the grip, but the Trigger Guard just does not work for me. I personally do not like squared trigger guards on most pistols.Considering who's picture you have for an avatar, I would think not shooting Glocks would be the obvious choice.
Or perhaps he's referring to the OP, whose avatar is Jeff Cooper.I guess you are referring to my avatar which I do not understand your comment.

I think it will move you from SSP to ESPI'll see how it affects things.
I've got small hands so I never really have an issue with slide bite (except on an LCP), but a beavertail should solve it. There's some cheap ones available on Amazon:

I was not aware that Gen 3 s had adjustable backstraps - wasn't that the main reason to introduce the gen 4?I was initially asking this question for my gen4 G17 that I use for HD and comps.
My gen3 G26 that I EDC also presents the same issue. Why is it that the gen4 backstraps dont fit the gen3?
I put the medium factory beavertail strap on the 17 and am going to try it at an IDPA comp tomorrow. It's not horrendously different but different nonetheless. I'll see how it affects things.
It doesn't, and it was, well partially....I was not aware that Gen 3 s had adjustable backstraps - wasn't that the main reason to introduce the gen 4?
