Yes sir, come next Thursday morning my wife and I will be out there somewhere (probably near Rockland) deer hunting. I've lived in Idaho my whole life - except for a few years when Uncle Sam made me live somewhere else. And I've hunted deer in Idaho every season since I was old enough. Before that, I tagged along with my mom and dad when they were deer hunting. I'm 71 now, and both my wife and I, our oldest daughter and her youngest son will be deer hunting somewhere in Idaho come next Thursday.
Why do you ask? I see you live in Boise. I grew up out near Homedale - about 40 miles west of Boise. But we live in SE Idaho now, and it's been years (probably 40 or more) since we deer hunted on your side of the state. So I probably can't be of much help if you want to know where to hunt deer in western Idaho. Now if you're planning on coming over this way, I know dozens of good places. Shoot me a PM if you want me to tell you about them.

Just seeing who's out there in Idaho. We'll be hunting the SW corner of the state. Been scouting the last 3 weekends and seeing plenty of shooters to put meat on the table.
