My Remington 870 tube has a crimp in it that won't let shells go past it. Makes all magazine extensions pointless. How do you fix this? Love the shotgun but this is dumb.

Drive a slug of steel that has a taper and max OD that is is a close fit to the tube's ID through the tube to swag the dent out. This is the best option.
The best option is to buy a Wingmaster or Police that does not have the dents to begin with. The procedure I mentioned came from a Remington trained LE Armorer, as well from as a former Remington rep. Both recommend drilling.
So your extended magazine is ornamental? OP wanted to put an extended magazine on. Leaving the crimps in renders the extended part useless.Or... Do nothing like me.

@mcb What sights are on your 1100? I have a +10 on mine but it hits really low now. I guess I need to add adjustable sights.
