Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's websites ATM are showing Winchester Large Magnum Rifle Primers available for online purchase $4.49 / 100 pack and $37.99 / 1,000 pack.

FYI Cabela's canceled my 3:15 AM order for these Winchester Large Rifle Magnum Primers, which had successfully processed to generating a definite order number and sent me an email at 10:04 AM to notify me my order had been canceled, due to "This item is not available". This is the first time this has happened to me with any such orders I've placed and fortunately I have some Federal Premium Gold Medal Match Large Rifle Magnum primers on hand from an order for those I executed several weeks ago.

BassPro/Cabela's inventory system is apparently not working correctly. Many people have had their orders canceled. May as well try, but don't be surprised if you ultimately have your order canceled.

Also, Midway's Winchester Large Magnum Rifle Primers went out of stock early this morning, literally, as I was looking at them.

Figures, Bass Pro stores are where i usually end up buy reloading supplys , virus or no virus. Hope they get it back together soon. Thanks for you guys watching and posting what's happening.

I ordered IMR 4198 online with free store pick up. It was out of stock at the store.
On sale there. Got a order number this morning.

Cabelas customer service told me most stuff is out of stock and they just didnt update it. I had some Nosler bullets show pending for almost 2 weeks and they finally took the credit off my card and then today its back on the card and says shipped. I wish they would make up their mind.

Looks like MSRP is now $104.95 for large pistol and $141.95 for small rifle primers. Is that legit MSRP as in Federal has raised prices by over 300% or is lg outdoors bogus and lying about MSRP?

My research says to stay away from lg outdoors.
Considerable amount of unresolved complaints even before the shortage. I put them on my ignore list well before current issues have everyone scrambling. Please do your own research, I've not been scammed by them but at the time of my research I only felt that was the case because I've never given them the opportunity. Others may feel different and only my personal opinion

We're fortunate enough to have a Bass Pro locally and I can say that what their online site shows and what they actually have in store is definitely not the same. I just started popping in to them once a week for a few odds/ends. I'll say one thing, they're not gouging prices but their everyday prices make my wallet hurt.

That is flat out insanity (and yes, I know they're going for even more elsewhere). I'd rather shelve reloading for now then drop $100+ on a $30-35 case of primers.

My primers from Bruno's just shipped, ordered on the 24th when the website said shipping orders from the 15th. Not bad. Prices were normal on the primers, hazmat was high, and it doesn't spread out well on only 3K, but I needed, wanted, them. :)

They still have CCI #34 primers. Maybe others, didn't look today.

Cabela's / Bass Pro Shops ATM are showing CCI #200 Large Rifle Primers available for online purchase at $3.99 / 100

Also showing Winchester Small Pistol Magnum Primers ATM available for online purchase at $4.49 / 100

Also showing Winchester Super Handicap ATM available for online purchase for $25.99 / 1 lb container.

ATM the various powders that I most recently previously posted available for online purchase mostly remain available for online purchase except Hodgdon Varget & Titegroup, and Winchester 231 (it's twin Hodgdon HP38 is still showing available for online purchase ATM however).

Thus far my order of Winchester Large Rifle Magnum primers from earlier today at 12:27 AM has not been canceled, just a wait & see now day by day.

I picked up my 4 previous orders tonight, I have some Winchester Large Rifle Magnum primers still on order as well as a 1 lb container of Hodgdon CFE Pistol powder enroute which should arrive Fri or Sat. Thus far I haven't had any negative issues letting several orders arrive over a span of time less than the oldest order maximum hold date to save the number of trips I make to Bass Pro Shop but I know AxisII has had some troubles.

If there is a sportsman's warehouse nearby, you can order on-line and pick up, limit 10. Showing approximately 20 different primers in stock. Many of them are on sale. Website says to allow 3-4 additional days in case they need to ship from warehouse to store. Placed two separate orders, will see if it pans out....

Have you actually tried to buy some? I got 2k SPP from them a month or so ago, but everything is OOS now. It says "buy online" but if you click it, they're actually OOS.

Unless they cycle in & out of inventory like at Cabela's & Bass Pro Shops online orders system.

The CCI #200 primers at that Sportsmans Warehouse link shows "This product is no longer available" in the space below Delivery Method.

For me it doesn't matter as their website says my nearest Sportsmans Warehouse store to pick up any orders I might make at is 523 miles away in Las Cruces NM and the second nearest store is 526 miles away from me in Slidell LA.

Cabela's & Bass Pro Shops ATM are showing Alliant Red Dot powder available for online purchase for $23.99 / 1 lb container.

https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/alliant-powder-red-dot-smokeless-target-shotshell-powder

Also Federal Large Rifle Magnum Match Primers ATM available for online purchase for $4.49 / 100 pack.

It's far more like trying to retrieve Kirk from the Defiant while Tholians complicate matters to me than finding some Johnny-come-lately Waldo game.

I placed an order for 1k federal small rifle AR match on 9/2 and 1k CCI 200s on 9/3. I received confirmation emails for both orders. Both were showing in stock locally (50 minute drive each way). I called the store about the first order yesterday, they didn't actually have enough to fill order. When I check order status, it says pending shipment from warehouse. I will let you know what happens.

Learned somehting yesterday. MidwayUSA had small pistol primers yesterday. Missed it. Im on email notifications from them. So why no notification? I messed up. You have to click on notifications for all sizes listed. I only had notifications for 1k, not for 5k. Thought this would cover anything listed. Wrong. Apparently no 1k for sale. Looked at my notifications and discovered this. Live and learn.

summersenterprisesllc.com has lots of coated lead ammo if you are looking. 5% off on $150 purchase, so I should be good for a while. Good prices, plus 5% off? Deal. And it didnt say 8 weeks to ship either. Doing a search to look for issues, and found they are on this page for good suppliers.

There are about 393 million firearms in the US. Conservatively, maybe 500k for those gun owners are looking for reloading components right now. That doesn't even include the record number of new gun owners looking for ammo. In addition, you are competing with resellers and gun shops who are buying inventory just to turn it around and resell it. When Powder Valley, Brownells, and Midway USA are selling pallets of primers within about 5 minutes of listing them while trying to keep their systems from crashing, its unrealistic to assume they are going to send you an email "heads up" in time. If you actually get the notification, its going to be after everything is sold.

If you want to purchase primers, they are available. If you are only looking for 100-1k of something, Cabelas always has something listed. If you are looking to buy 5k or more, you are going to have to spend time sitting in front of your computer.

I'm afraid this condition is going to will be with us for a while and depending on what happens in November, may never get back to normal.

I had notifications for both sizes...no email...
Last week when i was actively seeking primers I set up email notification with MidwayUSA and came away thinking they failed to email me but I wasn't postive enough to put on the forum. I finally got primers thanks to forum people

I got the email, but they were all sold out when I checked- less than 4 minutes after I received the email.
