Do we reload more than just Rifle? Of course.
Are there more than just 6 Manufacturers of rifle projectiles?
I'm sure there are, but for the purpose of this thread, of these 6, tell us what you end up loading the most of and a brief explanation of why.

UPDATE
WAS 5 CHOICES, NOW 6 with NOSLER ADDED

Nosler:)

Honestly I use almost all of them between rifle and pistol

The only brand I don’t have on my bench is Berger. I don’t shoot much Sierra but if I was a target shooter I’d probably shoot them

Volume I’d say Nosler because they have the best combination of terminal performance and accuracy and pricing for my needs

Of the brands you listed I’d say my favorite as a brand is Hornady. If I could only hunt with one brand listed it would be Barnes. If you told me I had to pick one of those brands to never use again it would be Sierra

I voted Hornady. Most of what I reload and shoot is from RMR. But I when I bought my Hornady LNL AP it came with a bunch of free Hornady bullets (well, you send in a rebate and they send them to you... close enough). Same with all my Hornady die sets. So I have experience with a bunch of their products. I also happen to have bought a Hornady manual a few years back. Between that and my other manuals I have a very good collection of loading data for their products. It also makes a handy reference for their product offerings. I guess that means their "free bullet" promotions were/are extremely effective at least on me, because I do gravitate towards their products when looking for stuff that RMR doesn't carry/make simply because I'm familiar with them, and its convenient for me to do so.

For me I use a lot of hornandy bullets they work well on paper and game. My second choice is Sierra with nosler not far behind. Hornandy and Sierra bullets are also stocked in more of the gun shops I go to.

I use hornady bullets the most. Mainly due to good local availability and the cost : performance ratio has been pretty favorable for my casual target shooting needs. That being said I have no qualms about using bullets from any of those manufacturers.

I used Sierra shooting high power. Then Berger for most of the decade I shot sniper matches. Then I switched to Jlk and now that the hornady a tip is out I love it. But for sheer volume I’d say Berger vld and hybrid are the best

They are a little more money but I can attest that with 300 plus kills since my switch that they do work exceptionally well. Hornady worked ok in comparison but just didn’t have the internal damage and anchoring power the Berger does. I also had mixed results with Hornady on game at ranges beyond 375 yards. I’ve tested the hunters hybrid and juggernauts and found the hybrid to give the best balance of penetration and explosiveness inside the animal. The hunter was a little too explosive and lacked the penetration and the juggernaut was a little too much penetration and not enough dump in the animal. Hunters were the least accurate. Juggernauts exhibited excellent accuracy as do the hybrids. Picture is a hog shot with a 215 gr hybrid from 270 yards. He was standing behind the one I shot through the head. I wasn’t sure at the time if that bullet was capable of a double but it had no issues going through the first ones head and both shoulders of the other one

Good point that I forgot about - I like being able to buy a box of Hornady locally to try out, then go order in bulk online if I like the results (you know... in normal times... Tough to find much of anything local OR online these days).

I always get excellent results with Hornady, and reliable performance on game. I used lots of Speer in the past, and always had outstanding accuracy with those, too. Hornady seems to have a better selection in the calibers I shoot, which is another plus.

I like sierra the most, I afford hornaday most often. Berger may be great I have no negative thing to say about them they are just out of my price range. I would love to shoot speer but they are not generally available. Some gold dots are in my future

Speer makes the best flat-base JSP bullets for .30-30 and .35Rem, the two rifle rounds I reload most often. I was given 3k .308” Sierra BTHP MK bullets years ago and I still have at least 1k left. I just don’t target shoot rifle as often as I used to.

I think Nosler should have been a choice.

I have run a lot of bulk Hornady and like it.

I also run a lot of the Sierra Game Kings.

Fun Poll regardless.

wild hog makes good ham! clean it, pack it full of salt, let it cure, and eat

Since we could only pick 1 I went Sierra for SMK and SGK. Hornady is a very close second. In .277 and larger its Sierra all the way. For .257 and smaller it’s usually hornady. Pistol bullets also usually Hornady if I’m using jacketed.

I’ve been watching the Nosler rdf bullet. It looks to be very comparable to the Berger. We are getting ready to do load development on a Remington model 700 American hunter 6.5 Creedmoor with the 130 gr rdf. I will be testing accuracy out to 500 yards as well as trying them on some pigs.

I would have to vote twice to be totally fair. I shoot exclusively Hornady match bullets, which comprises the most volume of total bullets consumed so I voted Hornady. I've tried Berger, Sierra and Lapua match bullets, but can't tell the difference on the high power course and Hornadys are much less expensive. For hunting and casual shooting though, it's almost exclusively Speer for jacketed rifle.
