There are a bunch of awesome shooters up there, mine aren’t anything super fancy but I have a few .44’s in the quiver...

My Specials are Rugers. One is a Blackhawk 5.5”:



And a GP 100 3”:



The Magnums are both Smith&Wessons... One a 6.5” 629 Classic PowerPort:



And a 4” 629 Mountain Gun... here with a Winchester 1894 Trapper .44 Mag:



I like shooting the Specials to mid-range magnums... I’m not a huge fan of full-house loads anymore, as they can quickly become a bit brutal on the old digits .

Loving that flattop almost as much as your mountain gun. The tapered barrel on those always catch my eye

S&W 624 44 spl - S&W 29 44 mag 6.5" -S&W 29 44 mag 8 3/8" -win 94 legacy 44 mag -marlin 94 sporter 44 mag.

I've owned a dozen or so over the years. Only one now.

The SBH was cut to 5” just aft of the Magna Carta, target crown, Weigand front sight. 629 Deluxe 3” aftermarket stocks, the factory were too sharp. Same for the Bulldog, wood in the safe, Barami Hip Grips with J Frame grip adapter, works extremely well.

USFA used to make a nice one. IMHO, at the Colt SAA strength level, the .44Spl really deserves to be more popular than the .45Colt.

Please quit. If you make me continue to drool on my keyboard it's going to short out and I'll have to get a new one. on those nice examples of 44s.

I didn't even get `em all!

My best was a scoped Super Red Hawk 7 inch. That really shot nice but had to give it up, arthritis. Also had a ported Raging Bull. I liked that too. Years ago I had a 1858 Remington brass frame replica. It was fun but I got tired of the mess with the grease and clean-up.

That .44amp is the cats meow!!! Nice!!

Only have one, a 629, and it is my favorite handgun I own. I hope to add an Anaconda if I find a new one at MSRP.
