Henry 45 colt carbine

Very nice ... can't go wrong w/ a Henry.

Looked at one of those at a local gun shop yesterday.
Nice looking rifle, well fitted and a pretty smooth action.
Tag said $949.95.

I have a Cimarron 1873 in .45Colt with an octagon barrel, so no real urgency to acquire another lever action in that caliber.
Now if it were a .41Magnum, I would buy one straight away.

Ditto that recco ... have one on my Classic Lever .22 WMR.

Very nice rifle, in fact I just got one in the .44 Mag/.44SPL in the carbine, however I got the regular barrel, but it does have the loading gate, very nice bluing on the receiver, I didn't care for the color case hardening that Henry does so I passed on that. It sure does have a nice smooth action. BTW the checkering is really superb for a factory checkering job.

Think you'll enjoy that Henry. I have one in .45 Colt with 20" barrel. What a fine rifle to shoot. Like that cartridge so much, went and bought two Italian replicas in same caliber.
What a hoot! Opps, sorry. The Italian's are revolvers; Pietta and Uberti/Taylor's.

45C. My absolute favorite cartridge. Both smokeless and black powder in revolvers and conversion for percussion. Alas as much as I’d like having that Henry it’s too far down the bucket list of arms to think I’d ever have.
You doubled up on one photo how about some additional ones.
