Learned a hard lesson last time during the Obama time frame so I’m good now for the most part. $50 is the max I’ll pay.
9mm is $20 for aluminum case.11 cents per primer is a bit steep. Still, being able to reload a round for about 20 cents might seem ok to many people these days, especially with factory ammo at over $1 per round.
Where?9mm is $20 for aluminum case.
I don't expect prices to come down much.
Midway has it for 22, Palmetto for 20Where?
MidwayUSA shows $76.99/1000 and "unavailable" - https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1301332027/Midway has it for 22, Palmetto for 20

True. My local Academy had 9mm Blazer aluminum for $15 a box on the shelf last week. I don’t know if it’s in stock today though. I think there was a 2 box limit.9mm is $20 for aluminum case.
Interesting. But not worth moving to Wisconsin.Within the last week bought 8k worth of CCI spp from my LGS at 65 bucks.
Road trip time!Interesting. But not worth moving to Wisconsin.
The only good thing about Covid is it’s cured every other cause of death.<shrug> 110.00 including hazmat and shipping (70 to 80 not including shipping and hazmat) may be the new normal for a while. I'll keep loading and shooting at my normal prepanic rate, and I'll keep buying primers as I use my stock and I see them come up online. I went into this panic with 40 or 50K primers, and I'll come out of it about the same, but I will never have reduced my shooting or loading one bit. It's only money, and you can't take it with you. With inflation sitting at 6%, and the cost of lead and copper 2x what it was 2 years ago....it's going to be a long time indeed before primers are under 40 bucks a thousand again...if you want to shoot, you're gonna have to wrap your head around it. In fact, I guarantee that there will be 2 more elections (midterm, and general) before primers go pack to pre 2019 prices. Elections along with political meddling, any future mass shootings, and a resurgence of another Covid variant........and the panic resets. So I'll buy 'em when I can and whenever I see them. Maybe next year they are back to being cheap and I paid to much and pissed away a few hundred bucks.....or maybe I'll be the last one left still having thousand round range days with my buddies for fun....who knows...but 2 things will be certain a year from now...I won't much lose any sleep over the extra 7 cents a primer I paid, and I will have primers and still be shooting. If saving a few bucks is worth it to you, by all means, makes me happy....more primers for me to buy, and buy I will.
From Florida? With gas at $3/gal and higher? I’d be better off paying the scalpers.Road trip time!
Sweet! So who has .38S&W 160gr HP in stock and how much is it? That’s one of my favorite loads and it shoots great out of my solid frame revolvers. Oh, and the next time you see .45AutoRim 255gr hollow base for the Webley Mk 1, let me know.9mm is $20 for aluminum case.
That’s “rode a unicorn to the bank and they were handing out free gold bars,” lucky.I have not , I have been lucky and have been able to pick some up at my LGS $28 per K ,
Let's see, just this year alone ... we drove to PA and back, TX twice and I just got back from NE.From Florida? With gas at $3/gal and higher?
I’m glad you’re so well stocked up - it keeps you out of the market - and that you were able to retire so young and wealthy. I still work for another seven years before I get full retirement and can think about such things. I am wondering though, given how well stocked up you are, and you obviously have nearly perfect predictive abilities, why are you even concerned about the current price of primers? Just here to brag, maybe? Belittle a few of your fellow shooters? That’s nice. You go right ahead. Enjoy.Let's see, just this year alone ... we drove to PA and back, TX twice and I just got back from NE.
No, I didn't pick up any primers because I stocked up well when they were $20/1000.
I did like Texas BBQ ... I know why my sister's family is moving down there this year. < Drool >
