Expect a POI shift with any can, as you're changing barrel harmonics, but a good can should not affect accuracy, and a good mounting system will make that POI shift consistent so it can be accounted for.
Ray and Zak do lots of long range work, that's what they built the ultras for primarily. I do to, but varmints, not paper targets, and usually not further than 700 yards.
I *can* build all titanium cans, but I don't like the limitations or cost, and the weight penalty with a well designed 17-4 stainless can really isn't that much since the stronger material allows parts to be made thinner. I list my weights with no mount, since Bravo mounts vary greatly, but I can build 1.5x8" Valkyrie (.300 win mag and full auto rated) at 14 ounces, 16 ounces for the .300 RUM rated 1.6x8 Accipiter.
Bravo adapters are anywhere from about 1 ounce for titanium direct thread to a half pound for Keymo adapter & muzzle device, so that's a major variable.
