Anybody have a source for a paint match? I think I'm gonna paint my vises & shop equipment to match my reloading gear.
that would be a hoot!

bring the press or the green die box into the paint shop and they can match it for you!

Most any paint store can match.
I was thinking H*me Dep*t was advertising
paint matching
Maybe from RCBS?

Mostly, thank you kindly for spelling
" VISE" correctly in the context used.
That's a VICE of mine :)

Call rcbs they may be nice enough to give you the paint code, I swear I remember them selling the paint but not positive. Or like mentioned above many places can match colors.

The last I checked the big box home improvement stores only color matched latex and didn’t keep the dyes in stock for enamel or acrylic. Some Ace hardware stores do. It’s been a long time since I checked so that could have changed but unless you’re within easy driving distance from the store I suggest calling and asking before going down.

There is no RCBS green.....it changes all the time. I just use green and it matches something I've bought from RCBS. As for presses themselves I have a Summit, a RockChucker II, a Pro 2000, and a Pro Chucker 7. None are exactly the same color.....then go to the plastic parts......green green. I don't worry about it anymore.....and the original RockChucker I used to have, I don't have anything that color any more...including the press....gave that one away.

But if you want hammered green to match some of the presses, find one lighter than the Rustoleum one above. That's too dark. It's more an "institutional green" like this .......

Then dry brush it with silver.....and it will be as close as anything. (that's what RCBS does.) They don't use crinkle paint any more....they just don't machine the castings.

If it's a plastic part....forget the hammering or the silver and just do plain neutral kelly green.

This one looks close (safety green)..... https://www.grainger.com/product/49...O7SpawyYUFkVNaMgliBoCDBAQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I'm RCBS and Redding to the bone ... it allows me some leeway on the greens. OP, that's a great idea actually. Liked ... wish I coukd give you more than one.

BTW some of my RCBS die boxes are grey and some of my Redding die boxes are black. Go figure.

I have a large Dake press I thought would look cool painted green (suggesting it's an RCBS product) next to a rockchucker. Might be just as easy to find primers for 25mm cannon shells these days.

If it helps, I’m pretty sure Frankford Arsenal blue is just Ford blue with a little less zinc oxide white.
