that 29-2 Big Boy Shinny is calling me. They also got a Blue but Rubber. But a Colt 44-40! then the 36-1 is just saying “Why Not”Your definitely in a pickle there.
44-40!!! killer rounds & you know Love a Colt SA!I think I’d go for the new frontier. I’m a die hard single action fan. I love adjustable sights and 44-40 would be fun.
that gun says… Timeless Bad Arse!!!I would go with the 29. My neighbor has one with the long barrel. It's a lot nicer to shoot than my SBH. 1400.00 I would be all over it.
they did have some classic HiPoints!!Ahem, what about the so-called "pre" Model 27 with the much desired 3.5-inch barrel?
But what does it matter? Knowing your threads, you'll announce you found and bought a
rare .38 Rossi.
Classic Gun Shop that will be a thing of the pass before we know it. It’s located in a small downtown with ice cream parlor, shops, art galleries, restaurants, banks! something from the 50’sI don't think any of them would be a mistake. My taste runs towards S&W rather than Colt, but it's your money. I'm jealous that you get presented with such choices...enjoy that gun store while you can!
pre 27… Grip looks after market to you?Ahem, what about the so-called "pre" Model 27 with the much desired 3.5-inch barrel?

They are factory Target grips, but from a later gun. The period correct grips would have diamonds around the screw holes. If you get it, I have a set of diamond Magna grips you can have if you want em.pre 27… Grip looks after market to you?
NICE! chunky gun tooThey are factory Target grips, but from a later gun. The period correct grips would have diamonds around the screw holes. If you get it, I have a set of diamond Magna grips you can have if you want em.
I think it’s 4” could be wrong, didn’t measure itI’m sorry does that 36 have a 3 inch barrel!?
always wanted a Dirty Harry Gun, buy a pack of hot .44 magnum. Then shoot a cylinder and sell it because it’s too much gun. Comes with a very nice wood case too!29 for me
I got a few Colt SAA but in 45LC and a few Italians too. But 44-40 sounds COOL!One of the Smiths. If you want a SAA for shooting, the Italian clones work fine and don't cost much. The DA Smiths are unsurpassed (except for maybe Korth and Manhurin).
that 29-2 Chrome look so Bad to the BoneI shot loads my neighbor loaded with 31 grains of H110. 180 grain bullet. From his 29. It wasn't bad at all.
