does anyone know if i can return a scope to gander mountain?

i just bought it 3 hours ago spent a hour and a half mounting it and now the bolt handle hits the scope. does anyone know if i can return this i opened it and mounted it but i never fired it or sighted it in or anything. btw its a ruger with factory rings so thats my only choice. thanks
 
Dunno how Gander Mtn handles this sort of thing. In my experience elsewhere, if it's been mounted there will be ring marks on it and the store won't take it back in that condition. However - if there are no ring marks, you will likely be able to return it.
 
Just how big is this scope? :confused:

I can't believe there would be a problem if there are absolutely no ring markings. Just put it back in the box and return it. If the scope is marked up in any way, that is a different story, and you should ask a manager/supervisor at GM.
 
If it's still in new condition with not a mark on it, just take it back. No need to tell them anything other than the fact that you decided that you don't want it.

Ummm, and the reason you are asking the question on the internet, rather than asking Gander Mountain (the ONLY answer that counts) would be?
 
If only there was an easy reference for Gander Mountian's return policy available.
Perhaps they have a website?
Maybe printed on your receipt?
Can you call the store and ask?
 
im askin u guys cuse gander is 40 min away. but yea they too kit back 2day i said it doesnt fit on my gun they said ok took it back.
