Which distributor or online retailer has the best online prices on NIB Springfield M1A's?

I want to add another long rifle to the collection and have had great luck finding the cheapest route here on THR.

Not interested in a SEI upgrade, or a rebuilt gun with bells and whistles, just a Loaded M1A, or a National Match depending on the price difference.

I saw some at the GRB show in Houston yesterday for $1700 and hoping to be able to get cheaper.

Thanks,

Yeah, I've checked Gunbroker a number of times.

Usually someone on here has a contact that beats those prices on NIB stuff. I recently got hooked up the CZ guy, who had tremendous deals, much cheaper than the auction sites or stores.

It's got to have a wood stock, so that narrows the selection down.

Bud's Gun Shop (on the web) or Bachman Pawn and Guns (somewhere in Tx)
Bachman Pawn is near Bachman Lake near Love Field in Dallas-- not a bad place, but they are sometimes too proud of their guns...they used to frequent the Big Town Gunshows, but I missed them the last two times I went..which has been months ago...

Springfield is starting to move more volume through their distributors. Saw a basic M1-A in synthetic camo at Turner's Pasadena, Ca. yesterday for just under $1500.

I checked out Buds, could have saved a couple hundred over their prices yesterday at the gun show in Houston. They seem pricey.

I've used Bachman recently for a pistol. Was hoping to find something out of state so no sales tax, they were OK on prices. Plus the guns at the shows are more expensive than they are in their SGN ads. They will not even bring a purchased gun with them so you can pick it up at a show as opposed to mailing it.

Still looking for a wholesale deal. Retail is easy to find.
