First let me say ljnowell is only 1/2 right. It depends on the bullet. I have not personally tried the bullets, but I did have a good discussion with the owner when investigating their bulllets. I also read an independent comparison of the 2 companieds products and MidStates did better there.
buy a batch of each and see what you think about them.

I havent used any of their bullets, I will admit that. However, I have used many different companies lead bullets and Missouri Bullets met or beat the quality of every one of them.

Honestly, I dont see any bullets being more accurate than the ones I get from Missouri Bullet either, as I have seen the best accuracy my guns are capable of in my hands.

I think that if I was local to them and wouldnt have to pay shipping I would probably try their products, but overall, cash is king to me. As long as Missouri Bullets keeps making the quality they do at the price they do, they can keep my business.

Hi Mark -

You wouldn't happen to have a link to that independent comparison, would you? I'd like to take a look at it.

When you spoke with the owner, did he happen to mention what his delivery times are? The reason I ask is that Powder Valley distributes their bullets, but have shown 'out of stock' on everything for about a year now. I hope now that they've been able to get their business back together after the death of the owner two years ago and are able to satisfy their customers. I know that we picked up a bunch of gunstores in the KC area when MidStates dropped under the radar following the tragic death and they were unable to deliver.

Thanks/Brad

No sorry didn't know about the death they where at a local gun show and I visited with them I am new to reloading and just looking at all my options they seemed like nice folks and answered my questions very patiently, I was not trying to start a debate on who was better, I travel threw there from time to time and was just wondering if anyone had used them. I have since become a member of the forums here and do appreciate the discount Missori Bullets offers to us. As I am still undecided on what type of bullet I wanna reload most tell me to stick with plated as I am new to the hobby and my machine is new also. But I have a buddy that is telling me to shoot lead as it is more cost effective for plinking. I have kids in the house and was worried about the lead issue. Also do the load charts work for lead as long as the weight and type is the same? Have seen some deals that say you need to by lymans cast bullet book for the right load info? If I shoot lead I will use missouri bullet although I wish there was a dealer close to Springfield I could pick them up locally.

Well, if you spoke with your local dealers, maybe they would pick up our line and we could give you a great big commission!

..I'm thinkin' Lieutenant Colonel or something in that range..

:)

Haha I spoke to Guy at 417 guns here in springfield just today and asked him if he would look into it. Lt. Colonel would have to much responsibility I work for a living so lets go with Captain.
