while i was shooting today about 25 rounds, i think it was like the 20th one or so. i think it slapped me one time, it sure felt like it. i was a little nervous on the next shot. it didnt do it no more tho, i was kinda wondering if maybe i had my finger a little to high on the trigger would that cause it? is this how it starts every few rounds or something? if so what do i need to do polish the FCG?

I've never really had the G2 trigger on my Saiga slap me, but it does bumpfire WAY too easily, to the point where I'm probably going to be replacing it with a Redstar Arms model because I use the Saiga as a hunting rifle, not a general AK. My new WASR rifle also has a G2 trigger group from the factory, and it should be fine for its purpose.

My G2 is kind of hairy, and I mean that in a literal sense. If you pull on the trigger, its a very crunchy, two stage type take up to the let off point, and if you dont shoot, it makes the trigger very light, almost like a set trigger does, the next time you touch it. It will drop the hammer at the slightest touch. Not the best thing on this type rifle.

I'm actually planning on putting the old trigger back in the gun when I get around to it.

Ive had a RSA trigger on another AK for a number of years now, and its a very good trigger, and its also adjustable in a couple different ways. If I get another, it will be another RSA, the G2 did not impress me at all.
but it does bumpfire WAY too easily,
Sounds like you're not holding the rifle tightly enough.

i swear it slapped me!!! my finger went numb for a min.
Are you sure it didn't pinch you? You did say your finger was high on the trigger. . .

you could be right, i noticed right after i shot my finger was toching the receiver. i guess i will just have to shoot and see if it does it again. i hope thats all it was
