well since we got married a week ago she gave me a GoPro HD for a present. so tonight when i got home from work i saw my range bag and 1911 sitting on the bed with a note saying that i had better go to the range or she won't bring home dinner.

so i had to oblige, so here are the 2 HD video's i took of me shooting my Taurus 1911 at the local range.

Pretty cool....I'm assuming you mounted it to your head, how did you attach it?

Does she have any single sisters???

My girfriend's first birthday gift to me was a $300 handgun scope. She shoots with me, hunts with me, helps skin the game and cooks too.

no her 2 older sisters are already taken, sorry.

yea she is awesome, we have been together for almost 9 years now and have been married for a week. not bad for a pair of youngins (im 25, she is 26)

Years ago (25), I bet my then girlfriend that if she could shoot ten squirrels in a row with my Rem 540-XR that she could keep the rifle....as squirrel # 9 came out of it's hide at 100 yards, I was sweating. Really sweating. I decieded that it would be better to marry her, and eventually did just that. She hunts wild game, prepares it, cooks it, and all that good stuff. Teaches my two kids to do the same. Tells me that I have "earned" a new gun. How can this be so bad?

Enjoy your honeymoon while you can.....for now you're number one, after about six kids and thirty years of marriage her focus will shift from your shooting hobby to other interests.

Lucky guy! Like me. My wife just bought me an LC9 I've been wanting for our 28th anniversary.

thanks everyone, i am quite lucky.

the trip yesterday was the first time in just over a month since i was last at the range and the first video was the first 8rnds i shot yesterday when i got there so i am quite pleased. now i just need to get some more ammo

Very nice target shooting, but now try shooting rapid fire as though you were trying to protect your life and see where those rounds hit. Keep in mind that no one is shooting back.

Great shooting, I too have a great wife. We each budget ourselves $200 a month for anything we want to buy. I save to buy whatever gun or pistol I want, she on the other hand saves to buy very exclusive cookware that I greatly benefit from, since I weigh over 250, and from the house budget our rods and reels are purchased. I keep re-newing her marriage contract every year for the last 29 years. At 30 years she will only have to renew every other year.

since the range only allows 1 round per second i really can't do what you are asking. i guess someone is a little green right now? i will post another video some time of my drawing from concealment and placing 2 rounds in a 4inch group at 15 yards in under 2 seconds.

to everyone else, thanks, i am very lucky
