I couldn't find a replica of the Desert Eagles from Boondock Saints II so I made some.

The guns are real (50AE instead of 357 used in the movie - 357 DE's are hard to find and in my opinion if you're getting a Desert Eagle it might as well be a 50AE) but the silencers are fake - although from watching the movie, I can't tell whether they were intended to be silencers or not anyway.

Used aluminum for the extensions so it's not too heavy and after anodizing it matches the pistols perfectly. Even added the flutes to the pistol barrels to match the movie. I'm working on the cutouts for the Pelican case now.

Here is a screenshot from the movie to compare...

Very nice, sir. Will the fake suppressors withstand the recoil of 50AE well? Excellent work.

If I could get the weather to cooperate I'll find out. I'm definitely going to function test them and make sure I'm 100% positive they aren't going to fall apart or blow up before handing them over to the customer that ordered them.

The only worry I have is the recoil working loose the bolt that holds them on and causing them to loosen to the point that a round could strike them. With a big enough bolt (thick and long) I don't think it'll be an issue. I'll report back once they've been range tested.

I'm glad to see someone loves those movies more than I do...now I feel less of a fan boy.

Nice work. I'd never spend that much on a gun that cost that much, but I'm glad someone was willing to.

I still want the Irish arms dealer's gun room.

Would those berettas include the mags with circular base that balances with the mag sticking straight up for super cool floor reloads?

Now all you need are those flush fitting 60 round mags they use in the movie and you'll be set.

Magnum research make COMPENSATORS for the desert eagle, but there are no suppressors for them, to my knowledge at least.

But it doesn't match what was used in the movie.

I've seen people suppress the Desert Eagle as well but the suppressors are huge. I don't think you could build a suppressor that looked like what was used in the movie and it work well enough to be worth it.
