Hi, I have been reloading for quite some time now but I have never used the polymer tipped bullets. I was wondering if anyone can tell if I can use the same dies as i normally would for my soft point or FMJ. If someone knows please let me know, I really don't want to buy a box and not be able to use them. Thanks.

I have loaded Poly tip bullets in .222rem, .223rem and 6mm rem. with the same dies as I have soft lead tips and FMJ with out a problem.

Yes you can.

Any seating die that will seat SP, HP or FMJ will also seat Ballistic-Tip bullets just fine.

Die seating stems don't push on the tip end of the bullet.
They push further back on the ogive.

Thanks for the info, I never took notice where the seating die contacts the bullet....I thought it just pushed on the tip, probably should of looked at that before I asked.
