I'm interested to see what people have in the revolver section. I'm considering a hammerless snub, but... I dunno how often I'll get to carry, so it might not be too worth it.

For me, the S&W J frame Airweights are the easiest revolvers to cc, very compact and light. Now, I've changed out the rotation between the two Rugers, the 2.25" SP101 or 2.75" Security Six.

My EDC is up front there. But that model 10 has been carried more than once. If I think it's a real entertaining trip to be taken, both have come along.

Not that I would recommend it for the average person, but I do carry this from time to time:

I have 4 Main Carry Weapons. Depending upon which side of town I’m in I may be found with the S&W 4043 in the glove box. Either the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .44 MAG , a Ruger SP 101 .357 Cal, or a SIG P-239 in 9mm as a main gun. Weather and how I’m dressed are also taken into consideration. The Ruger LCP .380 goes along as a BUG or sometimes flies solo.

These are my carry pistols. Open/concealed.
Glock: 26, 19, 21SF
Smith 642
Ruger GP100

My carry pieces

I mostly carry the Smith Snubbies, often two at a time, with a speedloader each. When a little more firepower might be required, one of the pair of 686P comes along, with two speed loaders. When I think quick reload might be needed, the .40S&W SIG P239 with spare mag hitches a ride.

"Why do you carry a gun? What are you afraid of?" asked the woman at the cocktail party.

"I carry a gun. I'm not afraid of anything!" I responded.

Pretty much what it looked like before I refinished/repaired it.
Shoots great, less the one chamber that times early [and hits the primer's edge] if you squeeze the trigger slowly.
Got a couple hundred rounds of modern ammo through it, no signs of stress.

Currently I have 2 carry guns, Springfield XDm .40 3.8" and a Ruger LCP. Okay, this is the revolver forum, and both are semi-autos, but that's what I carry. Springfield when I'm wearing a hoodie, and the LCP when I'm not.

However, I have a Ruger SP101 3" that I'm going to send to Ruger and have the DAO hammer installed (pity the 2.25" is the only one that comes with the DAO from the factory). I will carry it in the same spot as my XDM, only it will actually disappear under a t-shirt.

Why wouldn't you get to carry very often? IMO, you should carry as often as legally possible. If you're planning to pocket carry, a pocket .380 (I like the LCP) is the way to go. With the $15 holster it looks like a wallet or a cell phone in your pocket, if anyone can even notice it.

If you're carrying IWB, the Ruger SP101 is IMO your best bet. Yeah, it's heavier, but it's not heavy enough to really bother you when carrying, and it will kick less than an airweight.
