Bought a Springfield xdm-40 3.8 a few weeks back nice gun but should of got a 1911.

And the last one wasn't purchased it was traded for...a remingtom 788 .243 carbine. Neat lil rifle.

I've been reading THR for over a year and can't believe I just now finally registered! This is my first post, and is long overdue. The last gun I decided to purchase was a Mosin Nagant 91-30. You know, the $100 special! I have no regrets about that purchase, it is a joy to shoot. They're so cheap I'll probably buy a 2nd one soon so friends and I can have marksmanship contests with the same rifle.

I agree about the Mosin, I just got to shoot one today and as I said in my thread, I loved it. IMO the best 100$ I could spend.

New S&W 645

First post - found this forum while doing research on my latest purchase - I bought a S&W model 645 with 2 magazines in reasonable condition for its age yesterday. I gave $400 for it from a guy who got it from his Dad in an estate - his wife didn't want it in the house as the twins are on the way.
Cost me $26.00 to have it cleaned and range-fired today - the guy at the range put 2 magazines through it and declared it a "good buy".
I can't wait to take it to the range on Saturday . . . . . . . . .

I just put a Kimber Custom II SS Target running 9mm in Cali jail.

Picked up a like nib S&W 431PD H&R .32mag today.
I'm hoping the wife likes it for carry.
If not, I get a bug and I get to buy another for her to try.

Got a used Remington 223 sps a few weeks back,left it at the gunsmith for some up grades. New Lilja barrel in 1-8 twist + some extra mods, new stock, leupold scope 3,5-10x40 vx III

I just got a ruger p95 a few days ago for a beater/loaner gun. Its a really nice gun for the price (i paid $280 nib) and im seriously considering buying a sig 2022 in a few weeks.

Just recently bought a Marlin .444S, and a Savage 16 in .325 WSM. Both were used. both are excellent shooters. I love finding good deals on used guns
