Yep, thanks to my neighbor we now have twins. Yes they are boys, you can tell by their ...um..barrels. If the new (top) one shoots anything like the other, i'll be very pleased. It only took him, well I wont say how long to get this done. He built both and did a fine fine job. Kiieger 24" barrels with 1:12 twist BCM auto b&c, lowers are from Kerri's guns. Triggers are Jard (2.33lbs) and scopes are Nikon Monanch 6x24x50. Gonna feed both 52gr A-Max and 55gr v-max.

Twins

Ole Farmerbuck: Your rifles are something, My Son and I shoot a couple of hd barreld AR`s and we used 52 gr bthp match and 50 & 55 gr v-max`s these grouped well under an inch. But when we tried 52 gr A-MAX`S the groups droped by half 1/2 inch at a 100. We are always on the look out for 52gr a-max`s now they are sorta hard find on the shelf around Wichita, also they have worked very well on PD`s, groundhogs, and coyotes for us. I hope you enjoy your rifles as much as we do yours. That is really neat that you and you wife shoot to gather. ken

Well she doesnt shoot too much. I go buy guns and she wont shoot em much so I tell her thats ok, I'll keep it@ She's gonna catch on one of these days. Usually Powder Valley has Amax bullets

How do you like those lowers? Anything problems with them, including finish?

I saw they are pretty inexpensive, but I don't know anyone with one, and folks don't seem to talk about them much on the forums I frequent.

Great shooting, BTW. I wouldn't expect anything else from you :D

Tim, the lowers seem just fine. Plenty tight getting the pin in so there is no slack. Thois lower has red markings for 'safe'/'fire'. I figured that would be the easiest way to tell them apart in the pickup while p-doggin it. Thanks for the compliment.

Good looking twins

OLE FARMERBUCK: THANKS for reminding me I had all but for got about POWDER VALLEY. My Son and I use ti drive down to WINFIELD once in a while and go to there shop kind of a bugger to find the first time. And WINFIELD has a great little old fashioned Hambuger Stands, It is one of thoes places that is carry out only and we would allways buy a sack full to eat while we there and on the way home. But the price of gas and for a while their inventory was kinda low so we have not gone down in a while. How is the PD shooting out your way. It is sorta dryed up for us here but you can`t blame the farmer with all the LAW SUITS they could face by just letting someone on their property. Would you know of some one we could call about letting my Son and I Shoot some PD`S. Keep working on your Wife, my Wife use to shoot with us but she has a health problem that made her have to stop. Take Care My Friend: ken

Ken, I imagine if you really wanted to I could prob find you a small town. Hows a 400 acre patch sound? The pasture is 440 acres and its about all covered. Not for long though. I have a feedyard about 3 miles from me and they let me hunt their pasture. Its great being trusted like that. I drive in with the cattle and have at it. I need to paint my pickup like a cow and get closer to the dogs. My guns are about as big as my wife and she's kind of a city chick but thats ok. She never says a word when I get a new gun, she just goes to the furniture store! But really, if you want to come hunt, you'd better get to planning a trip.
