Congrats!! Welcome to THR!!
There is no turning back now my friend!! It's always so inspiring and up lifting to hear of another brother joining the team. And since you got your wife into the shooting element of things, your gong to have to buy a second press, unless of course you are using a progressive set up that is capable of keeping up with both of your habits.
I got my Wife involved too. Things went fine, that is until she started nagging me to hurry up with the loads. Not long after that she bought herself an RCBS single stage. I was hurt, especially after her comment of, " I have needs and your not keeping up with them". I thought it was just a phase until I started finding powder, primers, and loaded rounds hidden in unusual places, and I noticed some of my pirmers and powders were missing. And then she started disappearing for long periods at a time, and nothing about her seemed to make sense any more, she had changed. She started making lame excuses to leave the house. So I did what any suspecting husband would do, I followed her one Saturday morning and caught her red handed, and not with one, but with several handguns and a high powered rifle at the local range. She was in the bed of my best friends truck, she had his Glock in her hand. It was disgusting to say the least. There was powder residue all over her hands and face and brass every where, she was totally loaded! They were blowing load after load and at my expense. I was so embarrassed after I learned she had been going to mutual friends of our's and hitting them up for primers, powders, anything that would get her loaded. And as if it wasn't bad enough she was using pistol powder, I caught her using the hard stuff too, RL22 and IMR-4350, you name it she was using it, and in very large quantities. She was also using dirty brass, she simply didn't think about the consequesnces. I honestly thought I was going to loose her to an over load. That was when I insisted she get some help. She finally checked in to some reloading classes, but not until she had burned a barrel. Things are some what better now, but she still likes em real hot.
Most of us don't think it can happen to us, but it's a disease, one that has spread to my Son's and Daughter, and now my Grand Children.
On a more serious note, one of my Grand Daughter's seated her first bullet yesterday. She was so proud of herself!
