Just bought a 5.56 TBA Suppresser today!!!

TBA has started to do quick mount suppressers using the YHM flash hider. I set in motion the long tedious process of waiting to take possession. As far as I know I will be one of the first to get one of his suppressers with a quick mount. Most of the things he does and is known for are integrals. Mine will be black, so it won't have the matte grey that this one has. I have heard nothing, but accolades from TBA. Can't wait.

Look at pictures 1 & 2. You will see that the suppressor is sitting on top of a money order made out to the "Department of Justice."
 
Form 1's say make it out to department of justice. The dealer handled the paperwork for this one and didn't say anything about it being addressed to DOJ.

If you sent in a Form 1 and paid the DOJ, you will definitely have a long tedious process.

I apologize. I figured you would have clicked the form 4 and read box 1 as I suggested. As already stated, Form 4's should be accompanied by a check to the "BATFE" form 1's to the "DOJ".

I don't know if it makes any difference, but that's how the instructions read. Form 4's are for Transfers, Form 1's for making your own.
 
It's been a long time since I filled out a form 4. I have recently done 2 form 1's. I did the form 4 at the dealer. I think it's odd that one form says DOJ and the other form says batfe. I here checks get cashed either way and that I'm not the first. I'll see if it has left. I can always have batfe put on the money gram too.
 
The Form 1's go to Atlanta. The form 4's go directly to Martinsburg, WV. I don't know what the big deal is either, but I would be curious to know if it makes any difference at all.
 
So whats the deal did your dealer have you send a form 4 with the wrong money order made out or did you fill out a form 1 instead of a form 4?

The fact that form 1's and form 4's are payable to 2 different entities has been established
 
The "deal" was I put department of justice on a money gram for a form 4, so before it was mailed "BATFE" was put on there too.

The reason I put "department of justice" on the money orders is because last month I submitted to form 1's and didn't read the form 4 before I addressed the money order.

No matter if it said "DOJ" or "BATFE" it will get cashed. Mine says both.

Mine is being made to mate to a YHM quick-attach, birdcage flash hider. I believe the one in the videos are thread on.

If I ever win the lottery I could buy a night vision scope. TBA says it hides "100%" of the flash on top of it being "zero shift" suppressor. I don't doubt it, it's 8" long.

I haven't heard anything but rave reviews for TBA. I got to forget about it though, It's going to be a long, long, wait.
 
You will be happy with the TBA stuff, I just ordered 7 of their 30ps for the shop, people seem to really like them. In my personaly experance it comes down to either a TBAC 30p or a SRT Shadow for 30 cal TI cans.
