Normal to be able to feel powder move around in case?

I have no problem hearing powder in my rifle cases, handgun calibers...not so much. I'd be a bit hesitant to use those.

Pull a bullet off the case of one round and see if the powder looks normal.

It is normal to sometimes be able to feel powder shake back & forth in a round, depending on the load.

But however one shakes, so should the rest of them shake the same.

Certainly normal if you're reloading with Titegroup. I use it for 9MM, .38SP and .45 Auto Rim and the recommended loads never come close to filling the case. But it ignites just fine and is an excellent powder. Just have to be extra careful not to double load, because with the low volume, it is possible.

Yeah, this definitely happens on a lot of loads. Depends on the caliber you're loading for, type of powder you're using, and the bullet being seated.

What you are looking for is consistency. If there is only 1 round in a box that you can hear the powder rattle, you might want to put that one aside. But if you can hear the powder rattle in all the cases I wouldn't worry about it. Some companies like Hornady SF don't fill cases to capacity so there will be a little wiggle room for the powder.

Due to the fast burn rate of BP, the bullet needs to be firmly against the powder or else the bullet itself can actually act as an obstruction to the pressure wave generated by the burning powder, similar to a plugged barrel.

Smokeless powder burns much slower than BP so some space is not a concern.

It's not normal at all. You probably got bit by a radioactive spider and have heightened spidey senses now is how I figure it.
