Gun Belt Leather

Aker Leather here in San Diego makes the best belts i have ever used. I have been using their stuff for over 27 years....The B-21 gun belt is great for levi's and 5.11's an the B-22 is for dress slacks...Both have a polymer insert...

The price is absurd.

If you have a choice in leather I would go for range raised, it is tougher than feed lot leather, and get the cuts from the top of the back, not the bellies. If using thinner and/or less quality leathers a plastic insert can be added to increase rigidity.

Worn daily and never an issue. Even the black 1-1/4" dress version he made for me.

I haven't ordered a gun belt from them, but I have ordered 2 custom leather belts and am EXTREMELY happy with them. I've got a 1 1/2" harness leather belt that functions pretty well with my IWB G26 holster. I'll be looking at them for a gun belt when/if I start shooting USPSA and need an OWB holster.
