I have made it a habit to check put buds used handgun inventory every couple of days. The last few weeks, they have only had a couple listed. Does anyone know why? Are they getting out of the used business?

From what I've seen their inventory of used guns increases and decreases. Remember, it's the holiday season so they are probably selling more guns of all types both new and used. If they sell more than come in the inventory goes down...

makes sense with the holiday season. It just seems strange that it is so low. They generally have 20-30 guns. Last few weeks it has been the same 3

It's not just Bud's.

I check J&G's selection of used S&W revolvers, and lately, they have only had a couple in stock. I think that they've just been getting slammed with business.

They may just have too much turnover at their retail store to keep up with the used handguns on their websight. I go to their retail outlet at least once a week, in their cases are always dozens of used pistols, possibly hundreds most days. Ten plus display cases, each with as many used pistols they can fit. They were looking for tech support for their websight, may not have the personel in place to keep up with the volume.

Is that retail location in Lexington or Paris?

howlnmad, their retail operation is in Lexington.

One of the reasons I don't do much busines with them anymore is their silly, lowball offer for trade-ins. They won't give an inch on prices and will offer nothing for your trade in. I don't think they care much about the used gun business. All they want to do is sell you a new gun and get rid of you. YMMV.

It's probably because while you are trying to haggle prices and values there are ten people behind you trying to buy a gun. The video game store is the same way.

I tend to go along with the fact they just don't have the time at this point to keep their website current. They certainly have alot of used guns displayed in their store.
