I'm tired

I've mainly been making phone calls. My wife actually noticed all of the numbers without names on my phone yesterday. She said "who the heck are all of these people are you trying to source something hard to find for your company again?", I said "no, they're mostly elected officials from all over North Texas".

But yes, I'm rather worn out. If experience has taught me anything, it's the point where you're worn out is the point where you must press on.

I'll definitely be going to the range this weekend, regardless of how crowded it is. I might meet some new people.

I'd love to but we are entering our third day of rain. Our poor horses are knee deep in mud. My UTV might get stuck headed out to the target berm.

I think I'll spend some quality time at the reloading bench.

I'm in the same position. People who've seen me are concerned because my eyes are really bloodshot. I've been up until at least 2AM almost every night since Sandy Hook. It's a good thing I have high-energy traits on both sides of the family is all I gotta say.

I haven't been shooting in weeks, hunting in months. I'm hoping to go spook up some rabbits and squirrels this weekend before the season is out. I'll be relieved to escape from the BS for a while.

It's cold out and my normal range is flooded.....so I'm pulling out a brick of .22 Colibri and a tin of pellets when I get home to work off some of the 'I'm tired'.

Wish I could. Funds are a bit tight right now (and ammo scarce in the stores) so I'm sitting on my ammo supplies for now. "Hoarding" as my wife calls it.

Tired and depressed by the developments in New York and elsewhere. Got home about 15 minutes before dark last night, and wanted to have the kids join me to each shoot a 10-round mag through a 10-22, just because we could.

I didn't though. Maybe this weekend.
