With all the negative threads blaming others for their failures and "hoarding" I want to speak out that some of us thank you for your recent purchases and investments in ammo, firearms and firearms related products. All the Billions of dollars rolling into the industry is a huge boom to the 2nd Amendment and every dollar spent makes the anti's cry. 19 million new gun sales and vast quantities of ammo in the last year alone. Bravo!
If you prepared years in advance, just getting caught up, new to firearms or are an active capitalist currently engaged in buying low selling high. Thank you. Please keep it up, buy more, pile it deep, keep it, sell it, shoot it or what ever you want. I for one applaude those who buy all they can and sell it for as much profit as possible. I know it helps us all in the end. Don't let the socialists and whiners discourage you. Spend what you wish, and do with it what you wish.
That means more new gun owners, investment, jobs and huge growth in 2nd Amendment related industries. That's more security for the 2nd amendment and all Americans.
I especially want to thank those who either planned ahead and stocked up when it was cheap, or are right now cleaning off the shelves of your local LGS store at current market prices. We prove we understand how supply and demand work. Capitalism works. I praise those making what ever profit they can by auctioning what they have. Invest at Walmart profit on GunBroker. Three cheers for the investors!
I am disgusted by attempts at price controls or rationing. I'd prefer to see a single box of ammo with a $100 price tag than an empty shelf. I have no sympathy for LGS who go bankrupt with empty shelves because they refused to increase prices or do transfers for $5. They failed at capitalism. Good riddance. Try Cuba. They still dig that old school communism.
To the rest, the market will stabilize in the coming months. I hope LGS make lots of profit while the getting is good. Reloading is becoming more cost effective. Buy in bulk or a little at a time. Jump on good deals when you can. Buy it cheap, stack it deep. I recommend everyone get an AR-15, minimum 2k of ammo and 20 full capacity mags ASAP. If you just starting now you will have to pay record prices, hunt for deals or wait a while. If your looking for investments stocks in gun makers like Ruger and S&W look like good buys or just buy more guns and ammo than you need, store them well and resell when you retire or at the next panic craze. Garands from the CMP will also probably increase in value well.
Most importantly only vote pro 2nd amendment and do not vote for those incumbent law makers who voted against our rights. State and federal. No matter what party.
