As usual I went to look at one gun and came home with another. :banghead:

Intersting slide...the muzzle end appears to be milled down slightly ala BHP style. Very nice looking 1911. How does it shoot?

They are called carry cuts on a 1911. Wont know how she shoots till this weather clears up supposed to last a few days :( (Under severe storm advisory)

She is a beauty. Interested in how well it shoots for you. What kind of mags did it come with (does falcon build their own?)

I bet you brought the right one home. Send it to me, it never rains here.

It comes with 2 Nighthawk Mags. Falcon is the model name. Those mags are made by ACT, and I am not a fan. But we will see...

If this is what you brought home kind of makes me wonder what the runner-up looked like! Whatever it was you sure did all right with this Nighthawk Custom Falcon. Hope it shoots as sweet as it looks.

I went to look at a Ed Brown Classic Custom that my LGS called me on. While it was very nice, the oversized mag release bugged me. I could envision myself dropping mags accidentally.

Those are pretty easy to change out and not expensive....

Yep, and I have no issues swapping parts out on a lot of guns. However, when they cost as much as that one did, it had better be perfect in every way.

Either way you win. An Ed Brown Custom Classic would be equally nice but I think the little Birdie sang to you in just the right way. Enjoy.
