Lipstick on a pig

. I can't afford to buy every single gun I make a holster for. I'm sorry I disappointed.

Spray paint it black... no one will know the difference.

Funny title to this thread. Kydex is good enough for the Glock 29 I own. But can't imagine anything but leather holsters for my 1911s.

Nice leather work.

Beautiful work, and I hesitate to offer a suggestion, but I was once advised by an old time gunshop owner that the way to success is "you don't stock what you want, you stock what the other guy wants." The same, I think, would apply to making holsters.

Jim

Dang, I went to Como last weekend and forgot I needed to drop off my lil Colt Woodsman so you could work your magic. Nice looking leather, even if it is for a Glock!

Got a photo of the holster on the belt? (maybe too late to ask)

I didn't on this one, but I'm guessing your looking for how it rides. This is the same style in my most popular configuration.

Hey Jim, if I were doing this for a living maybe I'd joke a little less with folks. I'm not - and avoid certain areas of the holster market not because of inability but because of the market they bring. Different strokes for different folks..... I don't stock anything at all so it isn't apples to apples anyhow :)

Not even an invitation to the steakhouse? I thought we were friends! :)

Yep!

I feel your pain my friend,,,

I was once contracted by a lady to make a "Barbecue Rig" for her husbands handgun,,,
I told her I would need the gun for a couple of days and she agreed to that,,,
We decided on the type of holster, style of tooling, and price,,,
Imagine my surprise when she brought me his Hi-Point.

$375.00 worth of custom leather,,,
For a $185.00 handgun.

But hey,,,
She was happy,,,
He was very pleased,,,
I had me a nice paycheck.

It was a win-win-win situation.

Aarond

P.S. You do nice work my friend.

Good Lord!

I have to say, I would never own one but if somebody wanted me to make a nice rig for their Hi Point, I wouldn't turn them away. I don't think.

BTW, that's not an open invitation. :neener:

Eaglestroker, that is beautiful work...lipstick on a pic notwithstanding...now a good Colt Commander in that rig would certainly be an improvement....but beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Nice work, Amigo....Rod
