I Believe This Is a Civil War Bayonet, Help?

I picked this up 25 years ago or so at a garage sale for $5. I've done a little research and I think it may be a Civil War Zouave bayonet.

Can any more knowledgeable person confirm this? The only writing on it I can see is the # 10 on the top of the handle. Blade is 21 1/4", handle is 5".
