I didn't expect to go through the jug so easily. That was me hitting the aluminum pole. :p

It is clear that polishing a machete "clean" after use will be difficult. This is after dry towel rub, then oil rub.

I didn't expect to go through the jug so easily.

Putting the weight behind the cutting edge makes wide thin blades efficient. Less of the cutting force is wasted displacing the medium being cut.

I'm telling you guys, these wiiiiiiiidle bladed, distal tapered, long, thin Hansas are just spooky to use.

I use dish soap and hot water, followed by a WD-40 squirt if it is going to be used again the next day. Oil as normal if it isn't.

Magic eraser for stubborn sap.
