Well yeah that's sure what I said, but I didn't really choose my words well. I had just seen it and I was in a bit of a raw mood. I would've been better off thinking about it before letting it out like that.

Let me try to say it better- Americans need to become more aware of what is happening. Not necessarily most on THR- but the average person that believes in firearm ownership but may not be an enthusiast, shoot regularly, or carry daily. I'm searching for how I can best help the cause.

I'm late to the game, and I might learn something about helping others see the light from examining my own awakening. I've been shooting for 40 years (with some long breaks) and I consider myself a strong 2A supporter. But just in the past few years have I started understanding the goal, tactics and methods of the antis. I think something clicked and I understood that it's not about "reasonable" measures, trade-offs between safety and security, etc. It's about tyranny and control through the elimination of all guns and ammo.

Until I figure out how I can best help the cause I'll keep reading here.
