I am having a hard time finding a mid of the road load for a 150 grn SJHP for a 357. I am using Unique powder.

Any suggestions?

Had to reach back in time a bit as Sierra is the only company I know that had a 150gr JHP in .357 diameter with data for the .357 mag. Here is a scan of the 150gr .357 mag data from my old Sierra no 2 manual copy write 1978.

Top end loads are probably a bit hotter than you would see in the current manuals but I've found measured velocities from a 4" barrel to be right on when run over a chrono. Pick the velocity you'd like.

Just a side note Steve, I still have a half box of those Sierra 150gr JHC bullets along with some 140gr JHC and 170gr JHC Sierra .357" bullets. Those now discontinued bullets were/are my favorite .357 Magnum bullet for use in a levergun. Only the newer 158gr JHC bullet is now available.
