S&W Model 17

Yesterday I ended up with a S&W Model 17. Traveling so hard to post an image but here is what it seems to be:

S&W Model 17 (no dash)
Serial Number: k336897

Curious as to the year of manufacture? The gun shows normal wear looks to have been well maintained. The lockup is very good from what I feel.

I had the gun out yesterday and what a pleasure to shoot not to mention accurate. I tried several flavors of ammunition with Eley Sport shooting the best. Then too, it was consistent. Anyway, I am real happy with this little revolver.

The asking price was $799 and I asked if there was any room. I ended up buying the gun for $700 plus tax. There is minor holster wear on the muzzle. Overall the gun is used but seems to have been well maintained. Shoots great and I am happy with it. I just didn't want to pass on it.
