Chris Reeve Knives.Great value for the money.
I see way too much inconsistency from knife to knife with the Mad Dogs.Seen way more DAWGS that I have seen good ones.They also feel to light for my taste.
Don't know about websites other than maybe go over to the old
www.thefiringline.com and search under the blackpower forums.There is a lot of good info there.
Also CVA once upon at a no bull ????e book of arms a few years ago that was the ABC's of muzzloading.
Other than what has been posted about blackpowder scopes one of the things you need to consider is the amount of recoil the scope is going to be under and how well is it sealed.

Cant go wrong with a 50cal.Kills most anything on the planet and you can find all sorts of loads for them
The 45 is still kind of hard to find a huge verity of ammo for.

That would be a big mistake on their part.
Remington started floating a turd in the bowl when they started putting that stupid saftey on the 870.The one on the 700 is even worse.
Its about time that remington gets flushed.
