    I have a RIA 1911 .45 and want to upgrade the grip safety to a beavertail. Does anyone know where I can find one that drops in and is Parkerized?

    Help me with RIA 1911 .45ACP

    RIA hammer bite I love my RIA but I noticed after shooting a hundred rounds thru it that I had a red mark, almost a blister, where the grip safety hits between my thumb and index finger. I could not even tell anything while I was shooting it. Do I need a beavertail?
